Winchester M1897

Well I just could not help myself anymore. I've always been a huge firearms enthusiest, and I've always had a soft spot for the old school. Put firearms and old school together and what do you get?

Try the M1911A1, or the M1 Garand, of course the M1A1 Thompson SMG (Also know as the Tommy gun) And lastly one of my personal favorites, the Winchester Model 1897 shotgun.

This gun has always fasinated me with its deep roots in history, and its old style way of cycling rounds. So when I walked into a local gun shop a few weeks back and saw this girl sitting on the shelf, I knew she MUST be mine!

Now being such an old style of gun, there aren't many originals around anymore. And Winchester no longer producess the gun. So that means an original 1897 in the 20inch riot or trench configurations are freakin expensive!! This gun however is a reproduction, made by the Chinese company Norinco. They make repro's of many different guns.

Even though it was Chinese, I couldn't stay away from it. So right then and there I bought it for $399.99. Since then I've put 100 rounds through her, and she shoots beautifully. I couldn't be happier XD
